Run Little Sister is a free browser game by VARGA, the Nordic duo behind Neo Viking Rock Trap. You are a serpent on the beat; Jörmungandr shares the board, and the only way to fell him is to make him crash into you.

Every move lands on a half-beat, so the maze is a rhythm as much as a shape. Embers make you longer, and length is the progression: the mix and the drawing both fill in as you grow.

Jörmungandr prowls the same board. He will not touch you while he prowls — he is a moving wall that steals what you were going for. Then the horn sounds, and for two bars he charges your head and your body stops deterring him. Being chased is the weapon: survive the charge, put your flank where he is going, and he falls. His remains are a feast.

He always returns. The World Serpent cannot die before Ragnarök, so felling him is worth points rather than ending the run. Runs end one way.
